Please find below notes for team enablers:

Adventure Race Day 1 – Saturday 28/09/2019

Your team must arrive at the Event Hub between 07.30 and no later than 08.00.

Park your vehicles in the allocated car parking zone and proceed to HQ for:

  • Check in
  • Team and Individual Equipment Check
  • Safety Briefing

 

Kit checks will end by 08:15

The event safety brief will take place promptly at 08:20

Race begins at 09:00

Enablers are recommended to remain in the Event Hub for a short while before heading to the A470 Layby at this location alongside the Beacons reservoir. (Grid Reference) SN 989 183 and indicated with parking symbol in the below map.

From this location you will be released as your team arrives to the transition area at Beacons Reservoir where you can support your team.

Please do not enter the car park unless called by a Marshal and wait with your vehicle in the layby so that we can communicate with you when your team is near.

Adventure Race Day 2 – Sunday 29/09/2019

Your team must arrive at the Event Hub between 07:30 and no later than 08:15.

Park your vehicles in the allocated car parking zone and proceed to HQ for:

  • Check in
  • Team and Individual Equipment Check
  • Safety Briefing

 

Kit checks will end by 08:15

The event safety brief will take place promptly at 08:20

Race begins at 09:00

Enablers are recommended to remain at the Event Hub as there are very limited places to see / support your team on the second day of the race however, you can walk from the Event Hub to the following location (indicated with the bicycle in a circle) in order to see your teams compete in the Bike Sprint Challenge.

 

Please be ready to support your team arriving at the Hub following Stage 7 bike as we prepare  the lineup for the final stage 8 sprint relay.

Team Trackers:

All team members will be chip timed and enablers will be able to follow the progress of team members using the event app. Advice on the app and links to download will be provided to team captains closer to the event day. One GPS tracker will also be carried by each team for exact location data.
