BRECON CARREG CARDIFF BAY RUN

10k & 2k Family Fun Run – Sunday 23rd May 2021

Set in the heart of Cardiff’s historic Bay, the Brecon Carreg Cardiff Bay Run is a fast, flat and friendly event for all ages and abilities. Previously known as the Cardiff Bay 5 Mile, the race returned in 2017 with a little makeover and stunning new 10km course with a sell-out 6500 runners.

The route takes in all of Cardiff Bay’s most iconic landmarks, starting and finish in Roald Dahl Plass, passing the Wales Millennium Centre, Mermaid Quay, the Pierhead Building, Senedd, Porth Teigr and the Cardiff Bay Barrage.

ABP NEWPORT WALES MARATHON

Marathon – Sunday 18th April 2021

The ABP Newport Wales Marathon will return for its third year after a resounding success in 2018, made possible by the support of Associated British Ports, Newport City Council and the Welsh Government.

The route will be one of the UK’s flattest and fastest marathon courses – taking in a host of iconic landmarks, picturesque medieval villages and Newport’s recently regenerated city-centre.

ABP NEWPORT WALES 10K

10K- Sunday 18th April 2021

The ABP Newport Wales 10K gives runners of all abilities the opportunity to get involved with one of Wales’ biggest weekends of running – without taking on the full 26.2 mile distance.

The flat and fast route takes in the east of the City and some of Newport’s most iconic landmarks – including the recently regenerated city-centre.

HEALTHSPAN PORTHCAWL 10K

10k & Family Fun Run – 4th July 2021

The all-new race will take place on closed-roads, taking in the Porthcawl seafront, including one of Wales’ most famous surf spots, Rest Bay, and the picturesque Sandy Bay and Trecco Bay.

The route will also journey through the coastal town centre and historic Grand Pavilion, with a view over the town’s most iconic landmark – the Porthcawl lighthouse.

ABP BARRY ISLAND 10K

10k & Family Fun Run – 1st August 2021

Sun, sea and sand provide the backdrop to the second year of the ABP Barry Island 10K.

The race takes place on fully closed roads, taking in all of the town’s most scenic seaside spots – including Whitmore Bay, Romilly Park, The Knapp and Watch House Bay.

CARDIFF UNIVERSITY/CARDIFF HALF MARATHON

Half Marathon – Sunday 28th March 2021 (SOLD OUT)

Half Marathon – Sunday 3rd October 2021

Run 4 Wales’ flagship event returns twice in 2021 with two events, one on March 28th 2021 and the second on Sunday 3rd October 2021. The March event has SOLD OUT.

27,500 runners will descend on the Welsh capital for an elite and mass participation race on the famous flat, fast course – passing the cities most breathtaking scenery and iconic landmarks.
