LinkedIn has announced it will once again be sponsoring this year’s Dell Technologies Management Challenge.
The world’s largest professional network will be returning to Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons National Park) in June for the adventure race that aims to help develop management and team performance.
The Management Challenge sees teams of six battle it out throughout two days of activities including canoeing, mountain biking, running and hiking, as well as map reading, archery and mind puzzles. The settling also allows opportunities for senior-level networking, advice from guest speaker and adventurer, Sean Conway, and lots of celebration among teammates and competitors.
Teams will also be raising money for charity and will be supporting the MND Association for 2024.
LinkedIn first sponsored the event in 2023 and has regularly entered teams of its own. This year they will also be entering three teams to take on the adventure challenge, learn more about themselves, their team, and push their own boundaries.
Mark Walton, Global Client Director at LinkedIn, said: “We’re thrilled to be both supporting and taking part in the Dell Technologies Management Challenge again this year. LinkedIn have been involved with the event since it started and love the combination of comradery, connection and (friendly) competition that it provides. The event is frequently cited as one of the highlights of the year by our team members and we can’t wait to get out on the hills again in June.”
Matt Newman, Chief Executive at the event organisers Run 4 Wales, added: “The Dell Technologies Management Challenge immerses teams in nature to take part in a gruelling adventure race that’s been designed to test their limits.
“We’re delighted that LinkedIn will be sponsoring the event once again and entering their own teams to take part in the unforgettable weekend.”
The Dell Technologies Management Challenge HQ is set within Racquety Farm, Hay-on-Wye, between 6-8 June.
